Mary Franklin, PhD(c), RN, ACNP-BC
Mary received her Master’s of Science in Nursing at the University of California-San Francisco. She is a board certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. She is also a doctoral candidate in the College of Nursing at Wayne State University. Mary’s special areas of interest are the symptoms and perceived health changes in persons with cardiovascular disease. She is a speaker in the clinical assessment and management of acute cardiology patients. Mary is an experienced educator for both undergraduate and graduate nursing students in medical-surgical nursing and acute care advanced practice.
Lori Michael, RN, MSN, APN
Lori received her Masters of Science in Nursing at Madonna University. She is a certified Clinical Nurse Specialist. Lori is experienced in inpatient management of cardiac patients and most recently is utilizing her cardiology experience in the outpatient setting. Her special areas of interest are monitoring and management of congestive heart failure patients as well as patient education.
Michelle Sloan, RN, MSN, ANP-BC
Michelle received her Masters of Science in Nursing at Wayne State University. She is a board certified Adult Nurse Practitioner. Michelle’s special areas of interest are congestive heart failure and peripheral arterial disease (PAD). She is a national speaker and educator for healthcare professionals involved with PAD. Michelle also has developed a PAD assessment tooled that is utilized nationally.
Marni Young, RN, MSN, ACNP-BC
Marni received her Masters of Science in Nursing from Wayne State University. She is a board certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Marni’s special areas of interest are management and secondary prevention of congestive heart failure and coronary artery disease.
